More than 300 graduate from UNG in summer commencement
The university's summer commencement ceremony was held Aug. 1 on the Dahlonega Campus, and celebrated some 300 graduates. For the 2014-2015 academic year, more than 2,400 students graduated from UNG and have gone on to serve as professional, civic and military leaders in communities nearby and around the world.

Georgia State Law Commencement & Hooding Ceremony
Georgia State Law's Class of 2015 included 166 graduates from full-time and part-time programs. Among them, 58 graduated with pro bono distinction, donating nearly 14,000 hours of legal counsel and service. Nearly 60 graduated with academic honors. This marks the college's 31st commencement and hooding ceremony.

On Friday, July 10, 2015, the newest Georgia College students and their families will attend New Student Orientation. Orientation is a day-long program that offers new students and transfer students the opportunity to establish a link with faculty in their intended major, become familiar with the campus and the array of academic and campus life programs available and "take care of business" to prepare for move-in.

Georgia Southern University recently held its annual spring commencement ceremonies for graduate and undergraduate students at Hanner Fieldhouse and Allen E. Paulson Stadium. The university's spring commencement ceremonies were held May 1-3 on UNG's Dahlonega and Gainesville campuses. This spring semester, UNG conferred some 1,300 degrees. Additionally, 36 graduating members of the Corps of Cadets took oaths as second lieutenants in the National Guard or U.S. Army.
