Each year, the Georgia State University Honors College awards a variety of scholarships to current students. This year, the Honors College awarded scholarships to ten exemplary students.

The following students have been named to Berry College's spring 2015 Dean's List, according to Provost Kathy Richardson. The Dean's List honors students who posted an academic average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale while carrying a class load of at least 12 hours during the semester.

Troy University is pleased to recognize the Spring 2015 graduates at the University's campus in Troy, Ala. The spring commencement ceremony was held on Friday, May 8, inside Trojan Arena.

More than 150 undergraduate students presented their research at the Georgia State Undergraduate Research Conference (GSURC) on Tuesday, April 14. Students from a wide variety of disciplines shared their findings through oral presentations, posters, artistic displays and performances.

The Honors College Ambassadors corps is composed of a diverse and dedicated group of outstanding Honors College students who desire to hone their leadership skills, while also contributing to the Honors College legacy. These student leaders serve as representatives of the Honors College at a variety of internal and external events.

Georgia Southern University recently recognized 1,219 students for excellence in academics on the 2014 Fall Semester President's List. To be eligible for the President's List, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Georgia Southern University recently named 2,725 students for excellence in academics to the 2014 Fall Semester Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Samford University releases dean's lists after the close of the fall and spring semesters each academic year. To qualify for the dean's list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. Dean's List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

To be eligible for the President’s List, students must earn a 4.0 GPA for the semester and complete at least nine semester hours of academic credit with no incompletes.

This award, established in memory of James Ancil Lewis, honors his exemplary work in respiratory therapy: from his graduation in 1973 until his death in 1992. This award is given to a junior in the program who exemplifies Mr. Lewis' characteristics of service to others, particularly in clinical work and direct patient care.

Dr. Bonita C. Jacobs, president of the University of North Georgia (UNG), recognized more than 1,000 students for their academic performance during fall semester 2014 by naming them to the President's List and President's Honor Roll.

More than 1,800 students made the fall 2014 Dean's Lists at the University of North Georgia (UNG) for achieving a 3.5 grade point average, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than B.

Congratulations to the 2,685 undergraduate and graduate students at Georgia State University recognized for earning their degrees at Georgia State’s commencement at the Georgia Dome on Dec. 17, 2014.

The university's fall commencement ceremonies were held Dec. 13-14 on UNG's Dahlonega and Gainesville campuses. This semester, UNG conferred some 670 degrees. Additionally, 18 graduating members of the Corps of Cadets took oaths as second lieutenants in the National Guard or U.S. Army.

Upper Iowa University announces the Dean's List for the Fall semester 2014. To be honored, a student must have earned a minimum 3.50 grade point average for the semester and be enrolled as a full-time student.

Troy University is pleased to announce students who have been named to the Provost's List for the fall semester and Term 2 of the 2014/2015 academic year.
