The following students have earned the distinction of Dean's List at The Georgia Institute of Technology for Spring 2013.

The Georgia Institute of Technology presented degrees to approximately 2,700 undergraduate and graduate students during the Institute's 245th commencement exercises.

Georgia Southern University recently recognized 1,150 students for excellence in academics on the 2013 spring semester President's List. To be eligible, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester. The following students from your area achieved this accomplishment:

Georgia Southern University recently named 2,444 students for excellence in academics to the 2013 spring semester Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester. The following students made the 2013 spring semester Dean's List:

Upper Iowa University names its 2013 Spring Dean's List. To be honored, the undergraduate must have earned a minimum 3.50 GPA for the semester and be enrolled as a full-time student.

Bob Jones University recently announced the latest recipients of the BJU Legacy Scholarship. The BJU Legacy Scholarship is awarded to students who have at least one parent who graduated from BJU. The award provides up to $1,000 per year, for a maximum of $4,000 over eight semesters.

The following local residents were among 90 students from Georgia Southwestern State University who were recognized for earning a spot on the Spring 2013 Dean's List.

Valdosta State University has announced the names of students from Spring 2013 who have earned the academic status of Dean's List.
